frick you. I'm firing until the clip is empty. And I'd do the same even if I wasn't initially attacked in the car. If you charge a police officer....that's the end of the conversation IMO.
It's rare that I agree with a want, but when I do, it is usually emphatic agreement.
A minor note, of course, but it's a magazine, not a clip. Otherwise, bravo.

Am I the only one who thinks it's insane that a black person's life is apparently only worth something when it is ended by a white person?
Wouldn't it have been 1,000,000 times more constructive if Holder had gone to Chicago and announced, "I'm here as a black man, and I think it's past time we stop the epidemic of black-on-black murder"????
Of course, where's the fun in that? Can't even blame whitey.

You are obsessed with race.

He went to Missouri bc there were riots and was successful in ramping down the situation, and that's according to local officials.

You've got a serious problem.

Oh God, don't get me started. It makes me sick.
Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and other "black leaders" maintain their influence and power by constantly framing the African American community as the victim. The oppressed. There is no better environment for this than when a white man shoots a black man. They gain less in black vs black violence b/c they can't protect the African American community from "them".

That's true, but the implication was the black AG, sent by the black POTUS was going to prosecute the white officer if the state did not.
Now that's not going to happen - live by the racial politics sword, die by the racial politics sword.
(I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt that I am.)

This is just even further evidence that backs the officers account. To my knowledge, there hasn't been one bit of actual evidence that refutes any part of his account. In contrast, almost every "witness" account has been refuted by the evidence. The things we know for sure now based off evidence are he commits a strong arm robbery, he is blocking the road, he obviously reaches into the officers car either trying to fight him or get his weapon, then begins to flee but turns around, is NEVER shot from behind based off the forensics, then gets shot in the top of the head (which is exactly what Darren Wilson said happened while he was charging him). The last bit of forensics needed are to see if he was indeed approaching him or not. They can tell this just by looking at the bullet wounds. This will be the most open and shut case in history at this rate!

The defeatist feedback loop of modern black culture prevents outside inputs of rationality. If a viewpoint is "white," the proponent is rejected no matter their pdevious credentials. And the people who are respected enough to make a difference won't go against the prevailing cultural norm of urban "blackness." Too much to lose. Cornel West isn't going to come out and say, "Well, it looks like we were a little hasty here. This shooting actually looks legitimate."
To be fair, this isn't just a "black thing." It's a tribal thing. We all do this. Mississippi State fans did it a few weeks ago with Dillon whatever his name is. Even if you know your opponents are right, you can't admit it. Protect the tribe
Really good insights, but particularly the bolded part.

I don't necessarily believe that. There will be disturbances and probably serious disturbances, but I don't think it is a done deal that the unrest will have legs.
If the facts are well known and it is clear that this was a justified shooting, you won't have as much fanning of the flames. The media won't be as sympathetic and rooting on the rioters as we saw in round one, especially with CNN. The black leaders won't be as fervent in the cause and be cheerleading as much. Obama and Holder will not be quasi-supporting them as we saw in round one.
I think under the circumstances above, the flames of unrest will burn hot and then burn out pretty quickly.

"When you can't debate the merits of a subject, attack the other party."
That should be your sig line, Bengal. I haven't said one thing in this thread that you can actually refute, so you are reduced to typing out nonsensical mantras.
If you really thought my first comment in that post was ridiculous, then please tell me why almost nobody ever talks about the thousands of black-on-black murders committed every year.
I dare you to weigh in with a sensible response to that. I also hope others here see what a complete joke you are, btw.

You really believe that? If so, then they miserable failed in the long run of things considering what is going on in the St. Louis area at the present.

He went two months ago. And the violence and protests stopped and he was thanked. People act out bc they don't feel their voices are heard. He went for that reason.
This board predicted he'd bring charges against Zimmerman and this cop. Wrong both times. If he's the man KCT is... Excuse me the man KCT thinks he is, he would have done so.

I also have little doubt that Brown put his hands up outside of the car as he was running away and took the fatal shot
I haven't followed too closely but I'm pretty sure the autopsy showed the fatal shot (to his head) came from the front.

He's spoken often on black on black crime. And you speak often on race-baiters. I just searched. On the first page it was said 18 times, 6 of which was you. And I only searched with a hyphen.

Then the story unfolded in the context of the riots. Within a day or so, I knew this was going to be a legal $hitstorm and that the mob would never rationally evaluate the evidence.
All we've heard is bits and pieces of information leaked to the media by unnamed sources. I'm going to wait for the information to be presented to the public in an official manner in broad daylight. Did Darren Wilson really have a fractured eye socket as has been alleged? If true, that certainly would affect my perception of what might have happened.
