Anyone know a decent place to get shoes fixed?
Bought some shoes from Off Saks a couple months ago and within 6 weeks, the rubber heel fell off. They've been sitting in my closet since.

Bayou belts on Jeff Hwy by Haydels Bakery. They do all types of shoe repair

No kidding, I can google. There are good repair places and bad repair places. You're so helpful.

There's a place on Metairie Road, at the end, near Zummo's. Don't know how good they are, though.

I find shoe repair in New Orleans is terrible. The places on Magazine are not any good.
I have found the best (though not great) is Joe's Cobbler Workbench on Maple.
