Again, in historical views and pure data, that election was a goddamn outlier and it still is.

Also, it's rumored that Mondale actually cheated to get Minnesota, he probably had to do it to avoid a shut out in all 50 states and he only squeaked by Reagan with a mere 3000 thousand votes.

You know it's funny how DC is so liberal that Mondale still won it by 150 thousand out of 210 thousand votes cast. A republican has never won DC and it'll probably stay that way for the rest of my lifetime.
