Why would you want to know that? What good can possibly come out of that question?

Build trust in the relationship? I know how many she's been with and vice versa, and it's not a big deal to either of us.

Same. Some people think keeping certain things from your SO is a must. Then they're the same ones that say getting married is stupid.

"I've only gained 40 pounds and never spend weekends with my SO because football is on! WHY WON'T SHE BLOW ME EVERY DAY?!?!?"

There's a big difference in both people being mature enough to handle it and knowing. Jones and I know a good bit of that stuff.. from being friends or just being really sexually open people.

But let's face it.. generally the "Who have you slept with?!" question comes from a deeply jealous and insecure type of person.. the type of person who can't handle the truth.

Someone valuing their privacy doesn't mean they're a bad person or unworthy of a relationship. If you don't keep anything at all to yourself in your life, suit yourself. But you're perfectly allowed to.

agreed

It honestly blows my mind that so many couples don't discuss this.
