It's a site that allows you to basically build your own mutual fund. Pretty awesome, just was wondering if anyone had used it ?

I never have.
From my brief initial look it seems that basically they're offering savings by spreading a transaction fee over a larger basket of stocks.
That's fair enough, but really this is just saving 20-30 bucks over the course of a year to pick a portfolio you happen to like. Nothing inherently wrong with that but that's beer money.

well it just depends, the more you buy the more you save. buying 30 stocks would normally cost you roughly $270. So being able to do that for $10 is a big deal. If you bought that same fund every month you would save $3120 a year that could be invested rather than in fees. thats a few hundred thousand over 30 years...

So to follow up, did you start an account? Are you happy with it?
I'm going to start an account and see how it works out for me
