Well now I think you're venturing into the territory of taking it too far. These things only started to change in the 1990s. Its only been 25 years or so. I don't see how you can make the claim that the situation has been equitable "for decades" when the process of change began 25 years ago.

don't know how you've picked that as a starting point, but it doesn't go back far enough, I'm nearing the end of my career, grew up in in a family owned business, have two older sisters that between them are architect, lawyer,CPA, and engineer, have never been around discrimination except "reverse" discrimination, in my work place
