Yeah I'm surprised I don't remember that. Maybe it was one of those late night West coast games and I was 8 so I had to be in bed.

His shot looks like a soccer throw in.

It's pretty awesome that we attracted Manute Bol's biographer to this thread.

well i read this thread, then went to see how many 3's he actually made.

He made 1 3pt from 1990-1992 so that stood out when i read that guys post.

His memory is just shot, because the Saints actually did play in ATL that weekend in 1989 when he hit the 3pointer.

Once you hit 40, years are blurry.

Maybe it was '89.

We went to the Atlanta game IN Atlanta every year I was in college.

One time we even went to a Lynyrd Skynyrd concert at some outside amphitheater the night before.

Maybe that was '91 or '92.

If its any help, the night Bol hit the three was Jon Koncak poster night, and I had that poster still rolled up with the rubber bands until Katrina (when it got destroyed, and trashed).

Chuck with the high five at the end. I get queezy when I look at Bol's legs though. Those things look like they are about to break in half.
