Only time I'll look at ratings is if I'm at a store and something I'm considering buying is expensive. I'm not buying a $15+ bomber I've never heard of without doing a little research. A $5 pint of beer at a bar though I just order away.

Well yeah. I don't know that I've ever looking up a beer at a bar other than getting the name or something to post here

Agree. Made that mistake not too long ago. Put back something that ended up being awesome when I tried it a few weeks later, and chose something that sucked.
