Grand Marlin for seafood. Been there a dozen times and it's always great.
Grand Marlin is the best restaurant on the island (i.e. Pensacola Beach). If the OP is asking about Pensacola proper, I recommend Global Grill. And I agree that the steaks at McGuire's are excellent.

Agreed that Grand Marlin are the nicest place on the island. This time of year, a 7:00 reservation at Grand Marlin and arriving early for a drink at the bar to enjoy the sunset and live music is nice. For lunch on the island we enjoy Native Cafe for the fish tacos.
Going downtown Global Grill is your best bet. Some of our favorites there are the chips w blue cheese/bacon/red pepper ketchup, tempura fried asparagus, the lamb lollipops, chiles rellenos, blue cheese stuffed filet, and pesto crusted salmon.
We usually return on a Sunday and hit up Hopacks downtown for their half-off all drafts all day Sunday. Then over to Joe Pattis and back to New Orleans.
ETA: Has anyone tried "IRON"? It's a bit out of the way but gets great reviews.
