Turkey on Monday denied any deal with the United States on use of its bases for operations against ISIS, according to reports — contradicting National Security Adviser Susan Rice, who said Ankara had “made a commitment” over the issue.

Turkey hates the Kurds. If they knew ISIS would leave them the frick alone, they'd let the Kurds be slaughtered. As it is (and as is apparent), they are very reluctant to interfere.

I've worked in Turkey and I found the Turks to be very two-faced, almost untrustworthy to deal with. It's a very strange culture when it comes to keeping a commitment.

We should tell the Balkan countries that we'll look the other way and let them wipe that shithole off the planet.

The Turks have also started bombing Kurdish positions in country.

The target is the PKK, who are terrorists but who also support the Kurds in Iraq and hate ISIS.

This kind of jives with all the info that Kurds are putting out about the Turks supporting ISIS, such as treating some of their leaders wounded in Syria and transported to Ankara.
