Huge fricking deal. I'm taking a half day off of work tomorrow so I can get a head start on finishing up my legendary and get the guaranteed Heirloom drops off of Garrosh for all of my 90's that don't have it yet.

Have they said anything about a pre-WOD event yet, don't remember anything about one.

once I got my heirlooms a few months back I stopped playing. Not sure what I will do. This is interesting though.

I'm kinda annoyed because I didn't get my pally up to 90 in time. Probably headed back to the mage to finish up the legendary and such.

It's going on now! There is about a 10 deep quest chain centering around the invasion which is already taking place. You get an Iron Starling pet for completing it, as well as a new title. fun shite man, fun shite.

Did a normal SoO run last night. Very nostaligic feeling playing holy priest again after being disc for so long. Loved it.
SoO is a tad buggy right now, but we made it all the way to Garrosh before everyone had to go to bed. Gonna kill him tonight so everyone who doesn't have the heirloom weapons can get them.

Had to disable pretty much everything on my addons to get this working, I have a sinking feeling that it's time to upgrade graphics and ram in this box.

I think Garrosh is a fun fight. There are mechanics, but they aren't difficult to navigate.
Make sure your team avoids the iron stars, I hear there are tuning issues with them. Maybe Bliz will fix it before you raid though.

It was a cluster last night before our raid.
Hours after server went live were shaky, everyone and their moms were hitting target dummies, addons were broken (besides the important few), SoO crashing during a boss pull, but it could have been worse.
I like some of the class changes, I play Warlock main and Boomkin on the side. Like the direction they are heading. They have have added some UI tools that are pretty nifty as well.
As excited as I am about the patch, it still isn't WoD and new content, so still waiting patiently for Nov 13th.

The pre xpack quest line is pretty uneventful.
A cut scene or two and takes about 25 minutes to complete.
Free pet, achievement, and title if you do it before launch.
Pretty easy to knock out.

Alternatively, Our server was absolutely stable. We raided SoO last night with no issues other than than the Iron Star still does 300k when it rolls through.

Avoiding the iron star was the easy part for our group. Although, the first attempt, we had a pug hunter that apparently couldn't tell whether or not the engineer was up without DBM screaming at him.. sigh.

On normal mode, that ironstar wouldn't one shot you would it? I remember while learning the fight it would knock you back if you got too close, it wouldn't KILL you, but would almost put you down. Making it somewhat easy to recover.
at 100k ish health, that would be the end of you now!

They were a strong nuisance on normal, a little stronger nuisance on Heroic.
Now it is a one shot mechanic, unless they patched it today.

They did patch it. It is more deadly than it was pre-patch, but it anything to be overly concerned with at this point.
