I'll go with...
1. Saban - No doubt on this one
2. Spurrier - I think he'd outperform Miles if he had LSU under him.
3. Miles
4. Time will tell. I sure wouldn't take any of them over those first three.

Did you hear yourself?
You can't put one without the other; it's just semantics.
A $1MM guaranteed contract with a $500,000 upside bonus is the same as $1.5 MM contract with subtraction disincentives.

BeeFense, I knew that if I waiting long enough, this tard would give me a sig quote better than yours.

I saw a young LSU team win a hard fought game on the road in a hostile environment that took all they could give against a team that was desperate for a win and was still very much in the hunt to win the SEC east before losing to us.
This is not the year to blame Miles, if we go 4-4 in the SEC it is not a bad year for what we have in a rebuilding year. Only a delusional person would've said LSU could have won it all this year. I was rooting for it of course but its not gonna happen with all the inexperience we have.
If this was next year, and we were going into the Bama game with more than 1 loss, then yeah we'd have every right to put Les under the gun because next year we are expected to be great and be competing for a NC again. But a 4-4 off year is better than a 0-8 off year like Auburn had (and keep in mind Auburn rebounded by almost winning the NC last year).

Geeze...really. Have you never heard of this or thought this way before? Miles could go 7-5, 8-4 here in his sleep and never get fired....and there's a good chance that he may do that the next few years. I never root for the tigers to lose...but once the game/year is over sometimes you have to look back and say that it was for the best IF a coaching coach is eminent.

Dude, we're not going 4-4 this year. Florida was a dumpster fire and they bailed us out continually. We're a terrible football team that could very well go 1-7 / 2-6. We are indeed young this year and we've had multiple early departures but this coaching staff CAN'T SPELL "coach them up".

Legit question. What has sumlin done to garner any respect?

You guys are fantastic. One SEC win against an awful florida team with worse QB play than ours and Miles is great again.
I keep hearing how we improved and learned some lessons. The only lesson we learned from was that 7 should get the ball more and 52 is a little better than 31. We ran the same shite offense with the same predictable play calling and for the life of me I can't figure out why Florida continually backed guys out of the box.
Mark Stoops will not do this....but he's so undermanned that it may not matter. The Kentucky game is a tossup but the rest are losses.

quote:hasnt the rant taught you anything? heres the deal, one final time: literally anyone could come to LSU and win 18 games a year with the resources we have, AND Miles is simply coasting off of what only saban could have built.
So Miles, is not responsible for his program 10 years since he took over ... Is there any precedence for this with any other program ... I have honestly never heard anyone say that a coach 10 years after taking over a program is still not responsible for his success.
now, you may be thinking that those two things are the exact opposite of one another, and therefore dumb. but theyre not. i thought so too at first, so i asked and was told, "emoticon emoticon lol emoticon Miles stopid emoticon moms computer lol lol emoticon."
these are some of the top football minds in america that we're dealing with.

I would really like to see you eat your words because I think it is totally plausible we win 3 of the following 4 very winnable games:
Kentucky
Ole Miss
Arkansas
A&M
Arkansas and Ole Miss will be the toughest wins to come by of those 4.

From now on when the pro Miles people post shite like this I will simply reply with
"he tried to call a timeout after an interception because he didn't know the clock stopped after a change of possession."
Does this not indicate what we're dealing with?

Trust me I hope LSU wins all of the games...nobody bleeds purple and gold more than I do. But guys, seriously???? At some point we have to be honest with ourselves about Les Miles.

this list is so fantastically dumb i knew who wrote it even before i looked at the name. other than saban and malzahn (2 of the top 7 in other words) this looks more like someone asked for a list of coaches who havent won anything important in 10 years.

I think it just goes to show you how asinine this fanbase can be. They love sumlin and hate Miles. Miles wins more but sumlin loses prettier so they like Sumlin. It's lunacy.
