Having Les #1 is an obvious joke and homerism at its finest...
But Muschamp #5? Ahead of Mullen, Freeze, Spurrier, and Richt...

Can't LSU pay it's Coach on some sort of a commission? If they win the national championship, then the coach would be the highest paid in the country.
If they lose a lot of games, then they would be paid less. The more they win the more they get paid. It's kind of like the TV lawyers.

Nick Saban had that in his contract while at LSU.

He did not have that.

Seems like they always put the upside money in the contract. Never the downside lack of money in the contract.

Worst list ever created on TD.com

I personally think that there are other, better, head coaches out there yet to be discovered. These are the guys coaching for junior colleges, high schools, and assistant coaches.

Problem with this list is that this season will factor in so much more than previous seasons. Such that Miles will be lower than he should be and Mullen will be higher than he should be. Also, are we talking about just a gameday coach or a program manager in general (recruiting, results, etc)?
Here is my list of coaches based on their overall program management+results on field (which obviously is a fluid ranking that can change often):
1. Saban
2. Malzahn
3. Miles
4. Spurrier (#2 historically)
5. Richt
6-7. Sumlin or Mullen (any order)
8. Freeze
9. Bielema
10. Pinkel
11-12. Jones or Stoops (any order)
13-14. Muschamp and Mason (any order)
