I honestly don't understand this fanbase. Florida is one of the worst teams in the SEC, and they essentially gift wrapped the game for us tonight.
Yet, because we won, half the fanbase wants to act like our previous problems have suddenly been resolved, when, once again, we won despite displaying the exact same deficiencies.

Some of us are paying attention.

Literally zero people feel this way. Zero. Nobody thinks everything is perfect or that we can't get better. We choose to enjoy the wins and enjoy the ride. That is the healthy response. I don't get a ring either way. Do you? Do you put a championship on your resume? You ever held the national championship trophy? If not, who the frick are you to not enjoy the ride? Not only do you have an over inflated sense of self worth, but you are pr....you know what...frick it. Do what you do, playa

Great post. The only two things this win did was put LSU one game closer to being bowl-eligible and it also helped LSU avoid the bagel (otherwise known as the Arkansas) in the SEC for the year.
Otherwise, this team is as done as five-day-old toast in the SEC West race, and that's all that really matters at LSU. If you're out of the division race in September, it's a bad season.
But Miles should be happy. With a 1-2 conference record and five games left, LSU is still in the hunt for the 1975 Big Ten title.

Uh, we ran the ball a hell of a lot better last night.
And, we were adequate at stopping their run game.
Both of those are improvements.
I don't think we have more than 1 or 2 wins on the schedule.
Half of our fan base is whining because they just can't accept that the major issues aren't going to solve themselves this season. Accept it. It's a given.
