Agreed, but insulin for type-1 is still not cheap.

If it's not clear from my posts in this thread, I'm a type-1 diabetic, so I am personally optimistic about this. I also spend thousands a year on diabetes treatment, and that's with fantastic insurance and no complications, so I can attest that big pharma will take a hit if type-1 diabetes goes away.
