I'm not a huge Holder fan, but he is doing his job with the film review, and had a pretty nice comeback on Evans. He probably shouldn't have responded to Evans, as I'm sure his boss may tell him that's a no-no, and he could burn bridges with players, but Evans also probably shouldn't have responded to him in the first place either.
ETA: Just saw where NOLA.com won the Pulitzer in 2006, before Holder worked there, so it really isn't that great of a comeback by him. That would be like someone talking shite to Ingram and him pulling out Brees' Super Bowl ring.
ETAA: I see that the Sun Herald in Mississippi, which Holder worked for at the time covering the Saints, won one that year as well, "" ... for its valorous and comprehensive coverage of Hurricane Katrina, providing a lifeline for devastated readers, in print and online, during their time of greatest need."

Holder is better at his job currently than Evans

and Jari is being a whiny little bitch who is playing like shite and taking it out on a reporter who is doing his job and reporting that he is playing like shite. if only he would dedicate as much time to not sucking at football as he does to crying on twatter to those who accurately describe him as such, then maybe we wouldn't see this team struggling so much.
frick you Jari

Holder doesn't have a Super Bowl ring. But he's not a professional football player. He's a journalist. And he was awarded a Pulitzer in 2006 while he was with the Sun Herald.
Here are the facts: In an article, Holder called out Evans' performance vs. McCoy. Evans got butt-hurt and made a sarcastic comment to Holder on twitter about winning a Pulitzer...to which Holder posted a picture of his Pulitzer.
The Pulitzer Prize IS the Super Bowl ring of writing. Holder may have gotten his award as part of a group effort, but Evans got his SB ring the same way.
IMO, people siding with Evans are practicing Saints idolatry. And i'm a man, i'm 40. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Not exactly, the paper was awarded it for their Hurricane Katrina coverage. I don't believe he was a part of that coverage
Either way, Holder was just doing his job and Evans started this bs

I don't know what his specific contributions were. But he worked for the Sun Herald in 2006 and he owns a Pulitzer.
And yes, Evans got embarrassed a little. I bet he regrets that tweet.

Not even close.

Exactly, is Holder just supppsed to lean back and take it?
Holders evaluation was fair. Evans has played poorly this year, but I think he turns it around

So Jahri Evans didn't get a Super Bowl ring as part of a group effort?

No Jahri was part of the group effort. Larry Holder worked at a newspaper and people in another part of the building were apart of a group effort that earned the paper a Pulitzer.
I'm not saying Jahri was smart for being mad about it and responding but Larry Holder won a Pulitzer the way owner's secretaries win Superbowls.

Yea in 2011 we had the most beautiful offense and we had the best Oline play ever in the Payton Era.
Evans and Nicks were 2 of the best 3 guards in the league.
If Grubbs and Evans can play better well look more like a team that can win something in the playoffs

The fact is Larry was doing his job. Evans needs to except and move on and do his job.

And the super bowl ring was one by the team as well...

Not really.
Jahri contributed to that Super Bowl ring. Did Holder contribute any of the Katrina coverage articles to the Sun Herald as their Saints beat writer? I agree with your previous post that Holder was doing his job and Evans need to shut up, though.

how do you know he didn't?

Do you know what a ? at the end of the sentence means? I'd still be willing to bet that the Saints'beat writer didn't contribute to much Katrina coverage outside of the generic "First game back in the Dome" or "Saints give NOLA residents' hope" type articles.
