Different goals. Not knocking you, we just have two different strategies. I'm not hands on every day so I will try to get a good starting yield, then let my investment compound quarterly until I decide to retire. No work needed on my end.

If you don't mind my asking, what size blocks are you buying these individual stocks to make it worth it? I just don't have enough at any one time to dump on an individual stock to make it worth it with commissions.
