Number of Americans killed by Isis in the U.S. = 0
Number of Americans killed by Ebola in the U.S. =1
Average Annual deaths from Colon Cancer in the U.S. = 50,000
Average annual number of Americans seriously injured or killed due to colonoscopies = 70,0000.
These are just the facts. Don't kill the messenger.

I'm sorry you were injured when you and your wife had role reversal night, but that wasn't a colonoscopy.

I think you're the only dumbass here that can't infer how much larger the cancer rate would be without the colonoscopy.

According to the American Cancer Society, colonoscopies do not reduce the death rate of colon cancer.

Just so you know, we have had this exact same thread before and the outcome isn't in your favor.

There's an old saying that goes something like, "Don't use a sledgehammer to kill a gnat."
Taking Ebola as an example, i dont think anybody is saying this is the Black Plague. That being said, what's wrong with taking some common sense approaches?
Is taking precautions to increase the chances that we don't experience another Thomas Duncan situation a bad thing to do?

Post a link to the American Cancer Society's stance and recommendations on colonoscopies.
I want to see scientific articles and stats backing your position.
That site is not an acceptable source of information.
