First, I want to stress that I am a nurse, not a virologist, and hopefully throughout my post you will see that I am not pretending to be one. I have a Bachelor’s in Nursing and am currently a graduate student.
Stopped reading there.

You should let your eye get infected so it has to be removed. Then, you'll be forced to wear an eye patch. It will give you post-apocalyptic street cred.

Live within 1 mile of that Care Now. There is a great deal of panic at the schools. Many parents won't be sending their kids to school until the test results come in.
My only real concern right now is if this guy has kids in our schools. They really need to release info bc mom mobs are losing their minds right now.

My parents would have sent me in the 80's if ebola was around. America is weak now.

Some people are saying the guy was an idiot to go to a Care Now. Actually, he may have been genius. Had he gone to an emergency room, he may have come in contact with dozens more people in the holding rooms.
Do you know if the facility is well managed?

Good thinking Sabi. Besides, there's probably about to be a run on eye drops due to the Ebola scare anyway.

If it's in frisco I'm sure it's nice and new and well run.

I know the facility is completely surrounded and the CDC has it locks down. It looked like a foreign invasion when they all swooped in. It's a typical care facility with all sick people in 1 room. The other sick people in the room are being quarantined until they know what's going on.
His family says the CDC is sure he doesn't have Ebola.

That seems like a serious concern.

I'd do the same thing.

I'm pretty sure if he had gone to the ER and explained his story/background, he would be taken in immediately. Not sent to a waiting room

It's actually in an older part by the Frisco/Little Elm line. I'm sure it's well run, though.

According to Spanish press reports quoting the Spanish nurses’ union, Romero called Carlos III hospital several times between September 30 and October 2 when her fever finally hit the 38.6 threshold. Still, it took until October 6 when she had become so deathly ill she was begging for an Ebola test before anyone at the hospital where she worked reportedly reacted. Then, rather than immediately isolating her and rushing her to the special ward used to treat the previous Ebola patients, they told her to go to the nearby emergency room at Alcorcón, where press reports say she sat in the public waiting room for several hours absent of any protective gear. “I think I have Ebola,” she reportedly told anyone who would listen. But no one took notice until her first test came back positive. By then, dripping with fevered sweat, she would have been inarguably contagious.

Per state health officials, patient admitted to Presby is not showing symptoms and did not have contact with Duncan.
Nothing to see here. Go home.

They say that the risk is minimal as he had no direct contact with Duncan. Only the family and apartment.
