Salt Lake City

Been there for a work a few times. Being able to drive up to Park City or to the Unita forest is nice. There is a lot of out door activities that you can do, great hiking, skiing, etc. However, the food is pretty average at best. As mentioned the people were really nice.

A nice plus, SLC airport is a delta hub. That's a nice advantage that most cities its size do not have.

Yeah the outdoor part is nice. I can enjoy that.

I think the place would be fine, I guess on the money board it's a question of:

1) Lateral Moves
2) Benefits - How much do they matter?

It seems like it's a lateral move to a place that treats employees like gold. Modern pre-IPO startup, so tons of benefits, young workforce, 401k match, gym, free computer, fully stocked break room, catered lunch once a week, etc.

Compared with my current job, which is technically a startup, but acts more like a small corporate place. Major benefits, recently the 401k (no match), low key kind of drone like atmosphere that I've avoided because I work remotely. So I have freedom, and tons of it. But would probably not be the case and a move to Baltimore is all a but inevitable.

I have absolutely no lean right now.
