And my biggest problem with Oliver/Felicity is this. They had to make them a thing because of the fans. However they cant have them actually be a thing and stay within the universe. So they are creating strife where there isnt. No girl is going to walk away that fast and that hard. Randomly deciding "I want more from life" is one thing. But abruptly walking away from a man she loves, who wants to be with her, and she knows loves her, is not reality. Oliver also isnt going to almost lose her like he did in S3E4 and not directly tell her how he feels. Which actually, he already did, he told her to not ask him to say he didnt love her. It means he loves her. The writers are having to push them apart. Whereas their chemistry made it feel natural to bring them together, it is very forced pulling them apart. I could go on. No need to write a novel though.

TL:DR version: They are forcing the split between them, abruptly, for the sake of the story. Using non realistic relationship means to accomplish it.

1. I like that we all call Palmer "Shaw" instead.

2. Is Capt Boomerang not a really lame villain?

3. I like the idea of Oliver and Felicity but I've felt it was something they forced in the first episode just because fans reacted to it so well in the s2 finale when Oliver tricked Slade.
