I started going to John Curtis in 5th grade in 1985. Coach Corey taught us the foundations of zone blocking then and Coach Rob and Coach Moffitt drilled it home in high school. They still do it today& continue to run the same offense. If our much ballyhooed, experienced o-line at LSU can't understand the very simple concepts of playside steps & working to the next level but 10 yr olds can, than the problems up front are much worse than anyone can fix with this group. It all starts with the center, & #55 is terrible. He's probably the worst at that position in the last 20+ years. Communication, & more importantly, effort and attitude will solve their problems. That's the player's responsibilities, and not coaching. Coaches can, however, change the personnel.
