Bailey previously worked out for the Lions and is willing to play in the slot, as a nickelback or at the safety position, Rapoport reported last month. After a nagging plantar foot injury led to Bailey's release by the Saints prior to the season, his agent said in August that the 36-year-old defender is "fully healthy now."

Friend of mine is a Ravens fan and he said he already left with no offer.

He needs to hang it up. I guess he could play safety...but he's an injured 36 year old trying to play db

Saints are good people for not running their mouth about his injury

I don't understand why Bailey won't just let it go and retire. He's got to have boatloads of cash and his body is failing him.

The love of the game man.

Bailey needs to raise the sail and let the wind just take him away. Get in the HOF and as long as he doesn't stutter, get on the NFL network like the rest of the players that can't do it anymore.

Good. He better belongs on a team that doesn't completely depend on him being the bell cow DB. He's too old for that.
But probably has a season in uniform left somewhere.

Bailey needs to retire...the Lions were one injury to their secondary away from signing me to play and they didn't bite.

While I don't think there's anyway he would be the worse out of him, White, Robinson, and Dixon, it was pretty telling that the Lions didn't sign him after the injuries the their secondary.

Imagine a Bailey that can't even tackle the receiver after he allows the ball to be caught.
If he's that slow, you risk 6 every time.

Dixon/Robinson played well sunday.

Well, obviously. But I had a hard time believing it, but if no one else is signing him then I guess so.

Indeed. But it was only 1 game, and the Bucs' WRs after VJax, and without Evans, are pretty awful. Hopefully it's an upward trend for Dixon, but Robinson is what he is at this point.

Watch Dixon turn out to be the #2 cornerback that we were looking for. That would be kind of funny considering we drafted a cb in the 2nd round that can't sniff the field.

I mean shite, the guy is one year removed from playing at Northwest Missouri State and he's already on the field for the Saints D. He can't get any worse.
