quote:there's a time and place. I did not like the timing of this play call.
Personally I see nothing wrong with a good old fashioned HB Toss Dive against 10 defenders in the box on 3rd and 4.
quote:it looks like Les Miles wanted to take a shot before kicking a field goal. Obviously this was not the case of good timing, either.
And also, why waste one of those timeouts as the clock runs out in the first half while we are in field goal position?
quote:if the haters of Les Miles discussed things in this manner, threats like these would never exist. The problem is that you people are actually insane and actually want to fire the man who has been more successful at LSU and any other man for him. This is because you people are stupid.
Silly negatigers, amirite?

The man, the man, etc. it's all about the man for you. The cult of personality is very enticing.

I think he's the worst coach in the west, but I don't want him fired. I don't think we'd do much better. We are in fact getting out coached though. No big deal though, you win some and lose some.

No...the problem is that you want to live in the past. Believe it or not but you have to look at a successful football program like running a business. Yeah, Les has been successful in the past. He even won a NC 7 years ago.
While a coaching change is clearly nothing more than a roll of the dice, and there is no guarantee of success, the status quo under Les at this point is mediocrity. I'd rather move on now, with a coach that has a mind for the modern football game, than continue down a path with Les that results in mediocrity.
