The funny thing is that, from the series inception, a pretty big part of it has always been about the Carrie character and her problems. I mean from the get go with no apologies from the creators and writers. Why are people continually surprised and annoyed?

and they have sucked that well dry and in the process made some pretty terrible television in the process

As much as we would like this show to be about the CIA and bad arse spy games, it has never been. This show has always been about the relationships between these F'd up people.

I think we are all hanging on hoping they sway the stories more towards what we want, but it hasn't happened in 3 seasons and I don't think it ever will.
