I have a CR3a and a SR4a integrated amp/receiver. I used to lust over the Dragon.

Dragon...auto azimuth, manual bias, auto reverse--production began in 1983.
CR-7A...manual azimuth, auto bias, no reversing--production began in 1986.
They both use the same heads, capstans, and motors.
There are tape heads in both camps as to which one is King--they are both stellar.
I happened to find mine recently by accident through a business connection--original owner lives just a few miles from me--it is cosmetically mint, but it is being shipped off to a Nak specialist in September for a complete overhaul as it is 30 years old and it's innards need it.
