I’m 18. I definitely want to improve my setup in the future, but I acknowledge that doing it right now isn’t the greatest idea.
Once I purchased the original setup, almost all of my purchases have been things that preserve records, rather than improve the setup.
I got a cue lever because I have shaky hands and I would ruin my records, I got a cleaning kit with a carbon fiber brush. I got 100 higher quality vinyl sleeves. Just basic stuff.
Right now, I’m just enjoying my current setup. I’m not really looking to improve it until 4 or 5 years later. I’ve slowed down my purchases since I don’t have a job anymore.
So yeah, basically I plan on improving the setup as I get older, which is why I got a external pre-amp and a turntable with multiple cartridge options. But right now, I’m just trying to enjoy music with the options at my disposal.
My cleaning solution bottle is almost empty, so I was thinking about getting one of the cheaper spin-clean things.

No problem. Your system should bring the best out of it. It's worth $20 just to have it in the collection.

I did a little experiment this weekend. I went from single-ended (RCA from Blue Jean Cable) connecting my preamp and amps to a balanced cable. I got a good deal on Kimber Kable Hero XLRs so I gave it a shot. I went in skeptical but I can actually tell a small difference. I'm not sure if the difference is due to balanced vs RCA or the quality of the cable or both. They definitely helped some of the sibilance I was experiencing on bad recordings. It's still there, just not as harsh. Don't know if I ever posted a pic of my little stack in this thread.

Moved my little rig into a new bigger room to see if it’ll improve the sound.

We have the same TV. How do you like the Dali’s? I’m looking for options to replace my Polk RTi A7’s.

The Dali Zensor 7’s have been great for me, a lot of bang for your buck. Can’t really say anything negative about ‘em.
I upgraded my TV in the living room recently so this one got moved to a new location. It’s been with me for a while, prob the best one I’ve had so far before this latest one.
