I also remember doing a turtle soup in a wild game cookoff in St Joe years and years ago. We'd gotten polluted the nightbefore with no sleep at all. I fell off a plane at the airport and lost the recipe I'd kept in my pocket....it's a complicated story.

Went from dim memory in cooking the dish the next day. It tasted like soapy water. I'll nver forget the putid look of disgust on the face of the first judge to taste it.
