Have you ever seen Trailer Park Boys? There's a lot of life to be lived in a mobile home.
But yeah $50k would be tough.
The new world order has won when you have to make a better than average living just to keep your kids out of government indoctrination school in the so-called land of the free.

I know people who do with probably not much more than that. They adjust their lifestyle. We have not had to do that so much, but likely would to keep things as they are.
You may be surprised by how many women (or men) stay home while the spouse works. My daughter goes to a private kindergarten and almost none of the moms work.
