Well, well, well, well, well... a little Clockwork Orange lingo. My post above has been proven correct.

Obama says No restrictions on Ebola carriers coming into the US

Zach nails it again.

Sigh, you realize they screen at the African airports and people cannot transmit the disease unless they are showing the symptoms which can incubate for weeks. You also realize if we banned flights from Africa all they would have to do is fly over from Europe.

Can you read English?

quote:

The White House said Wednesday it will not impose travel restrictions or introduce new airport screenings to prevent additional cases of Ebola from entering the United States.

The screenings didn't work. The screenings : "Hey, do you have Ebola?"

Answer: "No way."

Them: "Well go ahead to the US. Have a nice day."

First they say this:
quote:

Spokesman Josh Earnest said that current anti-Ebola measures, which include screenings in West African airports and observation of passengers in the United States, will be sufficient to prevent the “wide spread” of the virus.

Then they sat this:
quote:

West African countries are screening travelers for elevated temperatures, but it is possible to be infected and not show signs for several weeks.

What a fricking circus this administration is.

Um, number one, we wouldn't ban flights "from Africa". Africa is a big place. Ebola isn't all over Africa.

Number 2, the proper response to such an outbreak is to restrict travel FROM the outbreak to ANYWHERE so, Europe shouldn't be a problem.

Alas, we are so busy being PC in the west that one day, we're going to act way too f'n slow and a disease that is a real problem will f us in the a$$
