Funny story, I'm in the class that's scheduled to meet tomorrow, right now. I just double checked if it was mandatory, prof. chuckled and answered next student's question

You are stupid.

No other way of putting it.

What, you honestly expected him to say: "Naw....I was just joking when I set that date."

Or "Nah, I like to set up trips where only a handful show up to."

And all this on top of:

Going to the OT first
Not even thinking of talking with Deans
Waiting till the day before to say ANYTHING.

Is the teacher in question a tenured professor?

Makes a huge difference. I know I had Paul Britt one year for Calculus and someone reported a dead week test to the dean on him. He stormed into our class the day of the test and bitched at us for reporting him and that he had tenure and we couldn't touch him. Then proceeded to give us the test and made a comment about making sure it was really hard. Dick.

No volvagia, it was a sarcastic remark.
I assure you I understand that this trip is mandatory.
Which is why I started this thread. It was a remark made in jest, to reaffirm his position once more, for the whole class to see his maleficent intention. I see you intend on tearing down my character though instead of addressing the point of the thread (and dare cast the stone of stupidity?) so I must grant you this one reply before I ignore you ad infinitum.
