Im going to say im not liking the dline play at all. And im not sure if haley just lucked out with some super talent over the years, but its seems our dts havent worked out. The guys that have performed better were the guys that moved inside like brockers, ego and now thomas and lacouture. these guys played de in hs. But then we have highly rated dts in guys like, johnson, johnson and davenport, yet they never lived up to the hype. And now we are seeing bain and gilmore un able to get on the field while a frosh that played de in hs and was hurt his sr year is now starting at dt.

Now obviously idk the ins and outs of the recruiting but id think haley watches film on his position group and discusses it with chavis and miles and miles ultimately gives the nod for offering a scholly. Somewhere someone isnt doing a good enough job at evaluating and then getting these dts ready to play.

I think rasco is good, i honestly thought he would have been the perfect fit and mlb when he was coming out of hs. Which leads me to my next thing, wtf is wrong with our linebackers. We recruited heavy that position yet it continues to be a weak spot. We seem to alwasy have only one really good lb every year, this year is kwon, before minter, then sheppard, then baker, then riley. It always seems three of them never emerge at the same time. Beckwith playing de last year and melvin jones is now a fb. I just dont get it. Because if we didnt recruit these guys, they most likely are at another sec school. or at least sign with an sec school out of hs.

Some people say we've recruited speed instead of hole pluggers. I don't really know but I don't see any speed or quickness either, not yet anyway.
