The league I'm in charges a 5 dollar fee to add and drop a player from waivers. shite seems ridiculous
I did know it was $5 before the league started but it was my first time playing and my team was pretty stacked anyways. Now, with guys on byes and wanting to switch defenses it seems like a hassle.
The buy in for the league was only $20!!!

We do $0.50 an add and the same for a trade
We're at $29 dollars so far in the transaction pot

Did you not know this before the season started?

I play in a baseball league that used to have transaction fees. It would add up quick over a full season, and it was a pain in the arse to collect. We did away with that this season.

why would you charge for that?
where does that money go?
this is honestly the dumbest shite ive heard since the guy in a points per carry league

Thats absurd unless you are in like a $500 entry fee league or something like that. What is the entry fee?

My league has a $300/team FAAB budget with real money.
Last year we had $900+ added to 1/2/3 payouts.

The $$$ league I'm in right now, we used to do $1.00 per transaction and at the end of the year it was something like $130 dollars. We'd just draw a name out of the hat to see who wins, but it became a pain so we dropped it a couple years ago.
$5 dollars per transaction is pretty insane though, man. I'd bolt.

We do $2, but I could see $5.

Not even close. It makes people think before they make moves. Plus he agreed to it.
The guy a couple of weeks ago who said he was in a 1pt/return yards is the most absurd one I've seen

Makes you consider your add and drops a little more

Where do you think it goes? To the winners I'm sure. You think the commish is pocketing the money or something??
My leagues have been charging for adds/drops for years. Makes for a larger payout. Shocked this is such a foreign concept to most of you.

To make people think about it before they do it and to up the pot.

In the pot. Winner gets 75% of the pot

Point Per Carry isnt that dumb and charging for transactions is pretty common. What rock do you live under?
Posted on 9/30/14 at 10:49 am to Dr. Shultz
We do the same, the idea is to get a bigger pot.
I like it.
I like it.

I like transaction fees. Adds to the pot.
Posted on 9/30/14 at 11:00 am to TigerSaints318
We do $5 per transaction. Transaction money get split between the winner and the points leader. It's usually around $1000 or so.
