Honestly, if they don't sign someone else, I'll be ok with that.

1) There will be quite a few TOR guys on the market next year.

2) I don't think Kuechel and McHugh were flukes last year.

3) I think Olberholtzer is most improved and pitches like a #3 this year and will only improve

Yeah I'm perfectly fine with a rotation of Keuchel, McHugh, Feldman, Oberholtzer, Straily/Peacock.

I wouldn't mind them making a play for a guy like Zimmermann to at least see what the price is, but I don't think it's completely necessary to add another #4 type guy

Yes, I agree with all of this. I'm just saying, they've invested so much this off season to show "improvement" that without a reliable innings eater then the work they did this off season will be unnoticable. I get the impression that Luhnow is feeling some heat to show more gains in the win column.

McHugh had quite a few 4 and 5 inning games last year which definitely impacted the BP. Add in Obie and the other "spot start" guys having difficulty throwing more than 5 innings per start and you have another year of BP getting stretched thin.

With the potential for the offense to score a lot of runs, we don't need a roster of sub 3.00 ERA guys (although, that would be groovy). But they do need at least one more reliable innings guy that can take a game into the 7th and 8th innings without giving up a ton of runs.

I understand this year is not the year. But they've put to much effort on the bullpen to not let it prove a difference maker.

Hopefully Peacock comes back from his surgery and shows the promise that made him a top prospect in the Nationals' organization.
