Because if we ran the spread with Jennings our offense would have been even worse. He can't throw, except a nice deep ball, but that's all he looks for. He doesn't make his reads and progressions that well. And he's extremely inaccurate and just throws the ball up for grabs half the time.
Jennings can't run the spread offense at this level.

Yet when he did the offense marched right down the field and scored a touchdown, averaging about 9 yards a play.
