I'm saying it here. Miles set up Jennings to lose.

That all being said, tell me why I'm wrong Rant, or maybe even tell me why I'm right

Jennings arm strength limited what he could be trusted to do. His release isn't quick enough to deliver the ball without defenders running it down. On the other hand, he knew the offense and could be expected to manage the game.

Harris's release and arm strength minimize his chances of throwing a pick, plain and simple, but until now it was thought he didn't know the offense well enough to not make mental mistakes and cause turnovers. Jennings negated his one advantage by turning the ball over, it's as simple as that.

Jennings has one receiver on half of his passes, he had no opportunity to throw the ball to an open man or make a read.

This is wrong, we were in multiple wr sets on both his ints. he made poor throws. he threw the ball 5 times, so i still doubt we had one wr on half his throws.

Short jump passes would have worked great for Jennings but they were never called.

I don't know if that is true.
I think AJ locked in on Dural and never would check down to some of the short-intermediate routes.

Plus, we tries a shite-ton of screens against Wisconsis and AJ maje some just god-aweful throws.

Miles is pretty good at predicting fumbles and interceptions against NM St.

Miles set up Jennings to lose. Look at the stark difference between the offenses they have been running.
Not sure what the point would be to set up Jennings to lose, but I did wonder why Miles waited until Harris came into the game to run "LSU" offense.
I'm not sure what gameplan I was watching with Jennings in there but couldn't help wonder if he could have had similar results to the gameplan Harris ran.

Again, I too was puzzled by the play calls with Jennings in the game but what would be the point of setting him up?

It has been a conspiracy all along. You have successfully exposed the master plan, but You should watch behind your back now, since you know the truth they will be coming for you...

What are Jennings strengths? You mention short passes being his strength but that is actually his glaring weakness.

exactly he almost sailed one over a wide open magee 8 yards away.

It really hasnt changed much, just look at harris first series. Did everything you people bitch about but easily went down the field and scored throwing it once.

Jennings was given a fair shot by Les. He had his opportunities.

He's excellent at the long ball, I'll give him all the credit in the world on those.

But, he couldn't complete the short stuff. How many screens did he miss? How many quick slants did he miss? Heck, he overthrew several receivers in the NMS game. He lacks the ability to consistently complete the short or intermediate passes. Perhaps he'll get much better, we shall see.

Jennings performance last week sealed the deal. That's all, nothing more nothing less. Harris gives this team the best opportunity to win, now!

That was my point. Jennings could have just as well as Harris turned and handed the ball off. That wasn't the offense he was called upon to run when he was in the game. The OP has a point that the gameplan vastly changed when Harris entered the game. I think his question (at least mine is, anyway) why was that? I don't believe Miles "set him up to lose" but I would like the OP to answer why he thinks Jennings was "set up."

Updated OP to reflect that I did not say Les Miles threw the Miss St game, just that he was not put in a position where he could play well. Clearly everyone took what I said out of context though

Miles told the receivers to run longer routes than they were supposed to just to make Jennings look bad? Or were his throws just short? I won't bang on the kid that much, I couldn't complete a pass in HS. I did in Junior high though.

At this point in his career Jennings can't throw, run, make progressions, or read blitzes, at least not very well. The last two games have made that pretty clear. When your qb fits that description it kind of limits what you can run
