I realize arguing logic with an LSU fan is a waste of energy, but here goes:
Let's take your argument that a playoff system makes the regular season more relevant to it's extreme. Let's say everyone makes the playoff, regular season record be damned. Are any regular season games even worth watching?
Now, let's take it to my argument's (the BCS as is makes the CFB regular season exciting and dramatic) logical extreme. When only two teams quaify for the championship game any loss can knock a team out. Thereby making every game important.
P.S. It's been almost 3 years. Get over it.
