How much value do you place on the option of power steering? It looks as though you cannot get power steering on a 570 model, you must go to a 800 or 900? All input is appreciated.

Purchased a 2014 900 Crew Model

I have a Ranger Crew Diesel and it's not equipped with it. Rode on the another Ranger which has the power steering and you can tell a difference but, it's not enough to warrant spending extra money on in my eyes. JMO.

Do you ever plan on using it in tight trails or maybe putting bigger tires on it? A couple of our ATVs have PS, the SxS we have it was added. If you can afford it I'd say it's a worthwhile upgrade.

Save the extra money for axles. You're gonna need a bunch.

I recently bought a 2015 ranger 900xp. Power steering is a 900 dollar option. I run 30" tires on mine and power steering is not needed. You move 6 inches forward and you can effortlessly turn your wheel all the way whichever way you want. I guess it would be nice for all day trail riding while simultaneously drinking beer but I dont do those rides often enough to worry about that.

I asked to drive one with and without at the dealer before I purchased mine. A grown man can handle the steering without it just fine, but I ended up getting it. I have 2 kids, and I knew the power steering would make it easier for them to drive around. I also liked the way it steered with it, but wouldn't say I couldn't do without it. Before I drove both, I wasn't going to get it. After I drove both, I got it. So, I guess I would suggest you ask to drive each and make your decision based on that and if you want to spend the extra $.

I LOVE having power steering on mine. It's nice on tight trails and ruts or climbing steep inclines in Ms. That's just my .02 cents.

Power steering is not the issue on our crew, it's the shitty turning radius.

Don't know about power steering on a ranger but it's great on a 4 wheeler. Nice looking ride you got
