There was a website that sold M1 Garands from the Civilian Marksmanship Program that had/has a ton of them.

The path to purchasing a CMP M1 Garand starts at the link.
I bought mine almost 20 years ago. It's still a joy to shoot, if you're interested in acquiring one, in my opinion, it's worth the hassle.
