Would we have been more successful against MSU in the spread, probably not. Because we don't have a QB fast enough or strong enough to run it effectively.

So it's either three and out in the spread or three and out in the pro style. It really doesn't matter. Maybe we just need better personnel than the other team.

why not run a modern rushing scheme that isn't the spread? like what alabama uses (single back, multiple TE/WR combos, etc)?

you can run the ball without relying on the i-form and 2 TEs or twin WRs. miles forces LSU to run this, though
