What is included in those numbers? I see Texas as a taker in your chart and the only way that math works is if you are including fed spending on defense (military bases in Texas). Without that Texas sends up a dollar and gets back about 80 cents.

Liberals are trying to say that blue folks' money is sent to red folks, when in reality it is red folks in blue states get their money stolen so that blue folks in red states can use it.

Texas receives AMPLE benefits from that military spending...about $14 Billion alone and another $4 Billion in the space program. Throw in another $20 billion in unrelated federal contracting in the Lone Star state that has nothing at all to do with entitlement programs and there is an awful lot of federal pork in a state that loves beef so much....
