I usually reserve ground venison for soups and chili. Sometimes Tacos. What other uses ofwhich you have suggestions?
Spaghetti/Meatsauce? Burgers? Nachos?
Thawing some for dinner tonight. Im leaning toward burgers, but gotta do alot of work so they arent too dry. Im open to suggestions.

As plain as it may sound, I've mixed a little ground pork with the venison and just made burgers. Great Flavor

The old standby, chili, works so well with venison. But I like it for greek meatballs (Hank Shaw's recipe here: LINK /
Mixed w/pork, it makes excellent breakfast sausage.

I use it in every application I would use regular ground beef for. Very rarely buy ground beef.

^^^This. Can't remember last store-bought gr beef. I usually grind my own. Mix it w/untrimmed brisket. Great stuff.

Family voted burgers. We like fatty medium rare burgers..... Is why we dont do venison burgers regularly

Dont overcook (med at most) and it shouldnt be dry. One of the reasons I like grinding my own is that I feel safer cooking to med rare than if I purchase from the store.

Meatloaf. Add some beef to it and prepare as normal.
