This statement is why your posts are discounted and you have no credibility. I've eaten oysters all over this country and in Europe. There are great ones everywhere and some are distinct, different and all are delicious. Louisiana gulf oysters stand right up there with any of them.

I love all oysters but the best I've had were picked off a crab trap hanging of the dock of Motorboat's Dulac marsh camp. Shucked em with a screwdriver because we were unprepared.
