About 4 years ago, her lymph nodes in her neck were feeling swollen and painful. When they ran the scans and blood test, the cancer had already spread to her bone marrow. They opted not to do chemo then because it was progressing so slowly.
She would go to the oncologist regularly to watch the cancer. 2 months ago it started to progress much more rapidly. They decided to start chemo with a total of 6 treatments. She had just received her third one.
