But those aren't real women.

And like I've said many times before...women working in the White House make around 30% less than the men do. They should start there and set an example.

I certainly wouldn't want to upset Warren, who knows if she'd pull out a tomahawk and scalp you!

I really don't want to see what this country would look like after another democrat administration. This next election is a must win for repubs.

They usually say women with college degrees make 75cents on the dollar to what men make. Someone looked into the claim and found out that it is true, but easily explained by the differences in fields and the fact that men are more likely to work overtime, not take paternity leave, and be the ones who travel. When you look at the same field and the same working conditions women make 99cents to the dollar so basically the same.
I was thinking it was something like this.

it is an across the board statistic. It makes no distinction between types of jobs or job descriptions.

War or Women campaign?
Election season is in full swing. And we're now nearing presidential posturing for 2016. Get ready for the same old themes, we all know the play book. Broadly attacking the Republican brand to stir fears and animosity is the softening tactic they use prior to their tactical policy rhetoric. It's their artillery barrage.
It has typically been effective too is the sad part, so they're going to ride that horse until it backfires.

If our society had no problems at all, leftists would invent problems in order to provide themselves with an excuse for taking over. This is a perfect example of it.

What she conveniently leaves out is what's in the rest of the bill. I don't know what else is in the bill but it wasn't a stand alone bill for equal pay. There's even a very good possibility that it was a set-up bill; the Dems added other BS to it so the Rep would HAVE TO vote it down.
I'm not saying that there aren't things to debate, just that it doesn't appear to be because of any unrelated riders on the bill.
Nowadays with all of the opposition between parties you don't seem to see that as much. Of course when they do it's "Katy bar the doors" time on the wallet.

Thanks for the info & like I said I didn't read it. If this is a stand alone bill without earmarks, pork, etc. it's rare as hell.

Equal pay for equal work is already the law of the land and has been for 50 years.
And I wouldn't be surprised if every Democrat in the US Senate is violating that law, including Warren herself.

If only there weren't already numerous federal laws that prohibit paying someone less due to sex.

Not the case here...
Senate Dems just voted unanimously to oppose it, and Warren has the unmitigated gall to brag about their vote. Bizarre.

The bill even mentions the Equal Pay Act in the "findings" section.

If she wasn't a liar I might take her seriously.
Indian-giver written all over her...

From the lens she used, that's what it looked like I guess.
What it looks like to me is:
Every single Republican in the US Senate voted against 'one size fits all' laws interfering with people's freedom in running their own businesses.
This. There are many factors that determine pay for people in the same job, experience, education, performance, etc. none of which have anything to do with gender.
