Spending that amount on one beer seems crazy but "investing" that much, in this case more, in a cellar is much more logical and fun.

He's got some impressive vintage and tough to find brews. He also has a lot of stuff that wont benefit from aging. Also has a few that would be available off the shelf and equally dusty at his local shop. From my experience there is no conceivable way that he can drink the beers fast enough to enjoy them at their prime.

To each their own, but what I see here is a beer collection. Made to be looked at and not consumed. What fun is that?
