Wanting to buy a vest for her but she has a 16.5" neck
26.5" chest
21" waist now
Large vest accommodates a
18" neck
26.5" chest
23.5" waist.
XL
21" neck
29.5" chest
26.5" waist
which should I get? leave room to grow or fit vest correctly now?

Get the xl if her chest is that big. My dog was kind os shaped like that. I had to get an xl then trim it to fit right.
Eta: Some stores will let you bring the dog in and try it on.

My yellow was 55 lbs. at 9 months old, and he continued to fill out the next few months up to 72 lbs. Now, at almost 6 years, he stays around 70 to 72 lbs. which is where his vet says he should be. So I'd anticipate yours to fill out a little more. He didn't really get much taller, just filled out.

My question is how many things has she torn up? Labs are notorious for that and I speak from experience.

Females are usually done growing at a year, while males usually grow until ab 18-20 months old. So she should be pretty close to full grown.

My choco is a little over a year and he has cost me more than my 10 month old daughter.

Some of those vest stretch a tad, just saying. And if you go with the big un, I'm sure it wouldn't be to hard to alter, if she doesn't grow as expected.

Why would you buy a vest for her now, being so hot and all. Why not wait a few months and then she'll likely be full growed?

Not mine. He never tore up a thing. That's when I knew he was a little "special."
Did you survive your trip back down here or did you eat too much?
