Agree with Deadspin, Stan van Gundy has been saying for years.

At the very least, I'd prefer it to be up to each team, not the NFL. But I do believe the courts punishment should stand as the player's punishment.

If only to see people bitch and moan, I would have liked to see Ray Rice's only punishment be the punishment imposed by the court.
