Wasn't going after semantics, sorry you feel i was. I used the word slaps because that is exactly was happens when a thinner branch can flex and whip forward at a faster rate than the had is actually moving so it's kind of a slapping forward when it contacts the object.

Some kids act up more than others...how old are you? And some kids with single parents are worse. They are able to run over one parent and have issues when supervised by the stricter parent.

I don't pass judgment on AP for this. He may well have gone too far, even in his own eyes. WE ALL HAVE AT SOME POINTS IN OUR LIVES!

I have 4 kids, they all are different. I can control one with a glance and basically bring her to tears without one word or movement.

I have other that respond to verbal. I do have one that requires a physical notification that he is on thin ice.
