An East St. Louis, walk up, crack house. With my ex-Brother in law; because he needed to buy some. They handed the package out of a window with guns in hand. Total bullshite decision on my part to accompany him to a Cardinals game (drinking heavily).

Manila and Angeles City and Muslims? While I'm sure there are some muslims, Manila and Angeles City are two very Catholic cities. In fact, I've never really seen any Muslims in either city.
Southern Philippines is a different story. I'm half Filipino, and my cousins even say that probably wouldn't go there, well at least certain places, without a hired body guard.
In regards to Mexico City. I've been a few times and have enjoyed it each time I was there. Never felt as if I were in danger at all.
On the other hand, Washington, D.C. and Boca (Buenos Aires), Argentina are probably the two scariest places I've been.
Boca, although I thought it was nice, I just never felt comfortable there. Two friends even got held up at gun point during the day.
And D.C., well a friend and I were trying to make our way to the University of Maryland, and I swear D.C. tends to shut down certain roads at certain points in the day which makes driving with a GPS difficult. Anyway, we got redirected and had to drive through the ghetto. We were at a stop light. A guy was talking about how the white man were terrorists' gift to Africa and so on. Then a guy drove by and dropped the n-word. Next thing I see is the guy crouch down, pull out a gun, and scream come back here you motherfricker. My friend hit the gas and drove through the red light.
